Welcome to my site!
I am a visual artist with a focus in painting, ceramics, and more recently public art. Originally from the west coast, I draw inspiration from dramatic overcast skies and themes of water, which reoccur throughout my practice.
In 2018 I was awarded a major public art commission to commemorate Canada’s 150th anniversary, whereby I enlisted the community to help create a winding river mosaic that was successfully installed in a city park.
Currently I am working on a new collection of ceramic vessels, and as always, at the easel painting seascapes. Painting commissions are a big part of my practice, so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like to know more about this process.

The Sunflower Project is an art initiative spearheaded by Artist Michelle Loughery as part of the Wayfinder - The Sunflower Project.
I was proud to be one of the artists asked to participate in the collaborative installation, Seed to Seed which involved over 25 artists and culminated in an exhibit at Gallery Vertigo in early 2022. Artists were invited to repurpose satellite dishes for the landfill and turn them into works of art representing the vibrancy, residence and light of the sunflower. The sunflowers would then be sold off to to local businesses to further fund the initiative, kicking off a legacy project aimed to connect communities through a highway of art.
