Welcome to my site!
I am a visual artist with a focus in painting, ceramics, and more recently public art. Originally from the west coast, I draw inspiration from dramatic overcast skies and themes of water, which reoccur throughout my practice.
In 2018 I was awarded a major public art commission to commemorate Canada’s 150th anniversary, whereby I enlisted the community to help create a winding river mosaic that was successfully installed in a city park.
Currently I am working on a new collection of ceramic vessels, and as always, at the easel painting seascapes. Painting commissions are a big part of my practice, so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like to know more about this process.

This hand-formed bowl is part of a series inspired by treasures you might find on a beach. I let my fingers dictate the textured ridges as I work the fine porcelain. Only glazed on the inside, the outside is left unglazed offering a nice play between textures. Although it is dishwasher and microwave safe, hand washing is recommended. The glaze is food safe.
